There are many big businesses making staggering amounts of money. They focus on luxury goods for the wealthy. They don't cater for the poor. Although they donate generously, most of the profits are shared among their shareholders. Not the lower income earners.
Recently I have been buying ice cream for R39.99. Last weekend the supermarket had it on Special for R49.99! That's a 25% increase. Why? And it's gone down to 1.8 litre from 2 litre.
Where does the extra R10.00 go? If it was shared amongst the employees, I would pay happily. We all would.
Then there are those that do help others. Share their expertise. Changing things, and making them better.
Legislation won't solve the difficulties we face in today's world.
Only sharing and helping will make a difference. Especially to our children and grandchildren.
We all need to get over "the good old days". Look forward to the "good young days". From today.
We need to be proud of what we do. Whether we are employees or self-employed. Be proud of what you do, and share with others. Learn to Earn.
The more you give, the more you get.
The more you take, the sooner others stop giving.
