I am not much of a gardener.
I've always been more into sport like rugby, cricket, hockey and golf.
Come to think of it, I wasn't much good at them, either. But I did enjoy myself.
Lately I've become a little keener on my garden, especially the veggie patch.
Not crazy yet, but enjoying pottering about.
This is my little veggie patch. Not much I know, but I'm trying.
That's actually my "lawn" not growing up to the paving bricks. Sprinklers not allowed.
We are going through a serious heat wave at the moment, no rain.
So I am starting to experiment a little, using the products that I market for a couple of suppliers.
I put a few bean seeds in some Jiffy 7's on Monday morning. Using one of my wife's plastic containers from the kitchen. Makes a nice little hothouse. On the windowsill.
Today, Wednesday afternoon I took a few pictures when I noticed a couple were actually starting to sprout. I thought that was a little quick, but hey, what do I know about beans?
I'll keep checking on them as the days go by and keep you posted.
I'll try some tomatoes on the weekend.
I'm sure you'll all be waiting with bated breath.

This weekend I shall start on a few experiments using the Aqualock Water Saving Crystals.
Together we can beat the drought, and the heat.
I'm going for a swim now. Right outside my "office" - Sjoe, it's hot.
