Success starts with self-awareness
Be open and honest with yourself.
Your strengths and weaknesses.
As a Small Business owner, you need different skills.
Bigger does not mean better.
Find your own level and don't let a few failures deter you.
If something doesn't work, change the way you do it.
Don't discard every idea.
Tweak it until you get the right mix.
Failure is a reason to learn and grow. School Fees.
Sport is a great teacher. You can't win every tournament or game. Somebody always has to come second.
That's not a bad place to be.
Much better than not even taking part.
If you don't buy the ticket, you'll never win the lottery
You have to stay the course.
You can't score a goal if you aren't on the field. Only "own goals".
Even if you lose, there'll be another game tomorrow or the next day.
It's nobody else's fault if at first you don't succeed. Don't blame.
Pointing fingers never solved a problem.
Doesn't help you to find the solution.
You may not be able to control what happens to you, but you can control how you respond.
Remember that pointing one finger at someone else, means there are three pointing towards you.
Mahommed Ali said "It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down. It's how many times you get back up that's important".
Don't use your business only to make money.
Of course money is important, but it is to business what petrol is to a motor car.
Without a little we can't get going.
It's fuel to keep you (and your business) moving forward.
Life gives back to those who keep trying to make a difference.
Darren Hardy suggests that we need 3 things for a successful business:
Have a passion for what you do, by all means.
And always "give" before you "take".
Honesty and integrity will win in the end.
