I've been trying to please too many people.
Trying too hard to please them all.
Too many different ads, links and articles on the weekly emails. O v e r k i l l !!!!!!
I apologise, no wonder fewer people are opening them.
If I still bore you, please let me know, by E-mail.
It's very hard to change at my age, but I'll do my best.
I still believe in Website & e-Mail marketing, I just have to learn a little more (every day)
That's something we should never stop doing - LEARNING.
I'm not talking about education. That we all have to have, even when it's free.
True learning comes after school. It's more about self-help than being taught - LEARNING!
Not all of us are clever or dedicated enough to be academics.
I didn't qualify for 'varsity in 1964. Passed matric, but only just.
My father told me I would get my matric, even if my own children had to carry my lunch to school.
That worked. And my friend Gavin, who made me study bookkeeping (which I hated), so that I passed the exam for the first time, ever.
I still hate bookkeeping. I pay Gavin to do my taxes every year. Yes, we're still friends.
But I have learned a great deal over the years, which has stood me in good stead.
I know that if I learn one thing every day, I'll know 365 things by the end of the year.
That should be a good pass mark. Probably deserving of a Gold Star, don't you think?
Maybe not a certificate or diploma, but good enough for me to live a good life.
